Bangkok
From fine dining to street food to floating markets, you’ll never go hungry here!
The Restaurants
Fine Dining
Gaggan Anand
You might recognize this restaurant from the Netflix Chef’s Table series. Gaggan creatively reinterprets Indian street food into fine dining. We really enjoyed the tasting menu that’s filled with flavors and gastronomical innovations to delight the senses.
Suhring
If you want a high-end German meal, look no further than Suhring. Twin chefs Matthias and Tomas have created a beautiful German tasting menu based on their childhood memories and travel experiences.
Potong
Old school Thai/Chinese restaurant turned top fine dining spot. Their progressive 20-course tasting menu ends on a high note with aged duck breast.
Casual Comfort
Ms. Maria & Mr. Singh
India meets Mexico at this lively restaurant, enhanced by a funky soundtrack. Expect fusion dishes such as pork vindaloo tacos and papdi chaat on a mini taco shell.
Haawn
A “speakeasy with reservations”, set in Thai-American chef Dylan Eitharong’s home. He managed to turn his dining room into a one-table restaurant where he now creates family style meals. With just enough space for 6 guests, it doesn’t get more exclusive than this!
Raan Jay Fai
As the only Michelin star-rated street food restaurant in Thailand, Jay Fai is an institution in the Thai culinary scene. Go for the famous crab omelettes, and stay for delicious stir fry noodles.
Damnoen River Floating Market
Take a tour to this beautiful local river market, and sample the best noodle soups and many more authentic culinary delights for around USD $1 each.

“While many travelers may use Bangkok to bookend a trip to Phuket or Koh Samui, the capital of Thailand definitely deserves at least a few days' stay for exploration. This bustling city, home to over 10 million people, is massive and offers something at every turn. From observing the monks during their morning prayers, to visiting The Grand Palace and Wat Arun, to exploring the Damnoen Floating Market. I love ending the day with a drink at a rooftop bar, and then either hitting one of the Michelin-starred restaurants, or indulging in some of the world’s best street food. Bangkok is a true epicurean's delight!”
